Strawberry Apple Jam

Strawberry Apple Jam

I was searching for jam recipes has i wanted my lil one to taste something home made. I never knew making jam was so simple and easy.My daughter loved it, yummy jam, better than store bought one.

I came up with strawberry and apple jam, where strawberry gave a nice color and smell, where as apple gave a nice texture to the jam. Now onwards i dont think so i will buy any more jam from store !!

Ingredients

1/2 cup strawberries chopped
1 cup Apple chopped
1 cups of sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

1. Puree both the apple and strawberry peices in a mixer.
2. Shift the fruit puree, sugar and lemon juice in a heavy bottomed pan, on a medium heat, stir frequently and allow sugar to melt and fruits to cook.
3. Cook untill it thicken up, 15-20 minutes. It will all hild together when lifting the spatula.
4. Cool it and store in the airtight container, refrigerate and use has required.
